Ok, this is the picture of the GPS route to take to Cibola Refuse. We were there two years ago. Didn't remember some of the turns we did, but figured it was just a different way to go. WELL, after 7 miles of driving where there wasn't anyone we did come upon a campground along a river (was it Colorado, I don't know). But finally WE turned around. Remember I don't have a steering wheel, or brakes. We did see a sign for the National Park with the same name, but not the area we wanted. Drove back to civilization and stopped at a gas station and she gave direction for where we wanted to go. Bob says I'm not a adventurist, LOL first time he noticed!!!

Monday, February 6, 2012 -- We have arrived at our next resort. This is located on Route 10 just into Arizona, along the Colorado River, Ehrenberg, AZ. So we are now on Mountain Time Zone, 2 hours different from home.

Missed taking pictures of the Arizona and Colorado River sign. Because Laura called and it was a more important talking to her than taking the picture. I can drop anything to talk to family and friends. Told Laura we are at 1/2 way in our trip. She thought it has been much longer than that.

Monday, February 6, 2012 -- This was on our trip from Desert Hot Springs, CA to Ehrenberg, AZ, NO we don't know what it is. The funny thing is that we've seen it three different years and we still don't know what it is. The mountain isn't that high that it would have a lot of snow on it. So don't know.

Friday, February 3, 2012 -- We visited The Living Desert last year. Had said before coming out here that we wouldn't see the same things we did last year. BUT I have a wonderful, loving, sweetheart of a husband, LOL. I love zoos, so we spend all afternoon walking around this zoo. (The feet knew it too).

The weather was very good too. Sunny and 72 degrees with no wind.

Such a great place to visit. A different kind of zoo. It has desert type sitting. Located in Palm Desert/Indian Wells, CA.
