We went to Las Vegas on February 26. We hadn't planned on going to Vegas. At one point we were thinking of going to the NASCAR Race that weekend, but decided not to go.

About two - three weeks before Sheri told us that Mark was thinking of working the NASCAR Race in Las Vegas. She wondered how far we would be from there and if we'd drive there to see them. LOL LOL LOL -- We only had 90 miles to drive there and I of course was missing our family so much -- yes we'd drive there. Sheri asked if we could stay with them. They had two queen beds. So we drove up there on Friday morning and returned back to the trailer at Bullhead City on Sunday Morning.

Mark had a meeting on Friday morning. We left Las Vegas after his meeting and the four of us went to see Hoover Dam. (Bob & I had been there before) It was fun to go again with Sheri & Mark. The next pictures are from our trip there.

It is a wonderful drive out there and the dam and new bridge is great to see.

See the workers on the bridge. I'm sure they are tied down, but OMG I can't imagine working up there. I guess you can't be afraid of height!!!

I am getting a lesson on how to use Sheri's cell phone to take a picture of her and Mark. So wouldn't you know we each had a regular camera and forgot to take the same with our cameras. She was sending it to someone by phone.

It looks like the lesson worked on how to use Sheri's cell phone to take pictures.

We are above the dam looking down at the Colorado River has the water is leaving the dam. They are putting a new road in to keep some of the traffic off the road that goes over the dam. What a bridge this will be.
