This is the front of our trailer. We purchased these flags a while back. There is a Michigan, USA, and Arizona attached by the holder and suctioned onto the trailer. At least by putting it here we are sure to see it when attaching the trailer to the truck.

Bob has gone golfing with three other guys from the park. The park we are in puts on sheets to sign up if you want to golf. Last I knew there was only 4 golfers going. Because my wrist is acting up again, I told him to go without me. So I did a little housework in the trailer (doesn't take long), walked up to a craft show at the club house, and now I'll go outside an read.

The weather is just great. The temperatures right now are so worth the long drive here. It is to be from 73 - 89 for the next two weeks. I'm sure the weathermen are like at home. They could be wrong. We've had great weather most of the time.
Wednesday, March 2, 2011 -- We went for a drive around this area. Started out going on a road that runs out in the desert, paved road. That is where this picture is taken. A lot of the road has this roller coaster ride. Glad we didn't take this with the trailer. But nice drive and again the mountains.

The area we are in is the desert area and there is cities of these names; Indio, Bermuda Dunes, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, Thousand Palms, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral, and then the two most recognizable cities -- Palm Springs, and Desert Hot Springs. When we leave here on Monday we will be going to Desert Hot Springs. So we will be spending three weeks in this area. This will be one of those short trips from one camp resort to the next -- 28 miles.

I love the palm trees. You can even ask my Cousin Sue, when we visited her in Florida I really wanted her palm tree in the front yard. I know it wouldn't have lived in Michigan.

Here's another area of these. But it is funny, on the map that the camp resort gave us it has listed "Wind Machine Farm". Not that makes sense. This is located where you get on Route 10 at Desert Hot Springs.

During our drive we got off route 10 at Bob Hope Road. This is in Rancho Mirage, CA.

Oh what a beautiful place. This is Palm Springs. Very very nice area. It does appear to be the land of the wealthy, thank goodness they didn't charge to drive thru. It was funny, we seen a beautiful Casino in downtown Palm Springs. We went inside, when we play we actually play the pennies. I told Bob when we went in, they may not even have penny machines. LOL -- they did.
