This is a another herd of cattle. In some fields there are so many cattle, this was just a portion of the cattle in this field. We travels all the way across the state east to west in upper part and really didn't see in crops. There is just pastures and land that isn't use for anything.

This was quite an experience to actually be where President Kennedy was killed. It was really something to see this area. This is the grassy knoll that we all heard about after the shooting. There is two X's on the road in front of the grassy knoll that indicates where President Kennedy was when he was hit with the first and second shots.

This is the Texas School Book Depository. In this building on the sixth floor, the last window on the right is the window that President Kennedy was shot from.

The memorial for John F. Kennedy. This picture is taken from the shaded side of the monument. The sun was at the wrong angle against the camera. The next picture is of the square block inside this monument.

This square block is inside the memorial structure and it has only listed President Kennedy's name on it.

This picture is for Barbara Jean. She wanted a picture of Texas to see what it looked like here. For the time being this is what Texas looks like. A lot of cattle on the pastures. There was other fields with more cattle, but it is hard to take the picture with Grandpa driving down the expressway.

This was a special treat. We went to Southfork Ranch this afternoon. We arrived in Dallas early afternoon. Nearby is the actually Southfork Ranch that we all enjoyed watching "Dallas" many years ago. We learned that there wasn't any filming done on the inside of the house for the show, that was all done in California. The scenes of Sue Ellen falling into the pool off the balcony when drunk, the breakfasts that were held outside, and any other scenes that were taken outside around the ranch were actually here at Southfork.
