After leaving "The Peanut Patch" we went to the "Arizona Marketplace". With wearing this sweatshirt (birthday present from Laura) to the flee mark I got a lot of conversation about "where in Michigan are you from". One guys hollered "I like your sweatshirt", I turned around and he had "Ohio State". I said sure you do. He said oh no, you are Big Ten and that's what is important. LOL

Tuesday, February 1, 2011 -- We drove to Quartzsite. We went up the California side of Colorado River (you can't see the river) to Blythe, CA and on to Quartzsite. These pictures are taken as we drove up there. Beautiful drive and stopped at a flee market up there. Usually bigger than it was yesterday, but it was enough for us.
The temperature yesterday was probably around 65 degrees and a little windy. We knew the bad winds were coming in later that afternoon/evening. We did have terrible winds last night and at times during the evening and night it just rocked and rolled this trailer. Our location at the campground -- we are the corner trailer, nice lot, but nothing on one side but one of the roads in the campground. We are to be a high today of 56 with the winds (will feel like 50), I know that sounds good to the snow country. But it will be cold here.
People in the snow country -- Keep warm and be careful out there in those snowy roads.

As we drove back into the Yuma area we were able to pull off the road and get a picture of one of the fields of produce. Beautiful cabbage heads. We have also seen broccoli, head lettuce, leaf lettuce. We've seen them picking broccoli, but never so we can get a picture. They have a machine with workers behind it.
