We are enjoying the desert weather here at Indio. First day in awhile since we've been able to wear shorts and sandles. We both sat outside the trailer reading this early afternoon. Went for a drive to get a couple of greeting cards for family members. Returned back to trailer to relax outside. This is spoiling us. The news said we got to 71 degrees. It is amazing how hot the sun is in the desrt. (Please not bragging, just stating a fact).

We arrived at our next stop this afternoon. We are at Indio, CA. This is near Palm Springs. We will be here 6 days and actually move about 30 miles to the next resort. The weather here is much warmer than when we were at Corona, CA. The highs are to be in the mid 70's to low 80's. We can handle that.

As you can see with the next pictures it was a beautiful drive. We are staying in a nice campground. Should be a nice and relaxing day tomorrow. I told Bob that it was good we had to stay a couple days longer at the last campground. By having the cold/snowy weather in the area it made the mountains look so pretty. If we had left before the snow they wouldn't have been quite so pretty.

We could see the top of this mountain from our campground. After getting on the road this morning I was able to get this picture. You can see that the snow didn't get all the way to the ground. Really pretty mountains with snow on the top.

There was so many of the mountains that had snow on the top. They were all so pretty.

These two pictures were taken during the beautiful drive through these mountains. The sign going into them said that we (vehicles pulling trailer, RV's, trucks) had to stay in the right lane and do not pass. I am disappointed with the reflection on the windowshield, didn't know that piece of paper was there.

We came through an area that about everywhere you looked there was these wind turbines. They are so tall and when you are close to them those things that spin around are huge. These were in the area of Palm Springs.
