I guess I have missed a couple of days. So bringing you up to date.
Not much happening. Just been enjoying the weather and dealing with things to do with our trailer. On Thursday late afternoon Bob noticed one of our tires was looking like the last one. So on Friday he removed the tire and went to get another tire. Oh dear, don't buy tires in California. They are more expensive then any other place we have purchased a tire. The cause is the California taxes here. But we didn't want to wait and have a blow-out. (Good news is our trailer now has all new shoes from last winter and this one.)
I stayed at the trailer while he went tire shopping. Fixed a hot dog in the microwave. All went fine. When he got home - Bob did the same. The door wouldn't close, then it did and wouldn't open. He was able to make it open without using the latch, but it shouldn't be use in this condition. So we will start working on this problem after the weekend. We've been told you can't put just any microwave in a RV.
Today is moving day. We have one day in-between membership resorts so today we move to a RV parking lot at one of the casinos. Then tomorrow we move into our next location at Desert Hot Springs.
It is suppose to get windy here this afternoon and tomorrow. Some locations close by will get windy then others, to do with the location of the cities to the mountains I guess. The temperature will be a little lower tomorrow and then pick back up.
Wishing Happy Birthday to Bob's Sister-In-Law, Luanne, today (mine too) and also my Uncle Gerald's birthday is tomorrow.

This is the front of our trailer. We purchased these flags a while back. There is a Michigan, USA, and Arizona attached by the holder and suctioned onto the trailer. At least by putting it here we are sure to see it when attaching the trailer to the truck.
Bob has gone golfing with three other guys from the park. The park we are in puts on sheets to sign up if you want to golf. Last I knew there was only 4 golfers going. Because my wrist is acting up again, I told him to go without me. So I did a little housework in the trailer (doesn't take long), walked up to a craft show at the club house, and now I'll go outside an read.
The weather is just great. The temperatures right now are so worth the long drive here. It is to be from 73 - 89 for the next two weeks. I'm sure the weathermen are like at home. They could be wrong. We've had great weather most of the time.
Wednesday, March 2, 2011 -- We went for a drive around this area. Started out going on a road that runs out in the desert, paved road. That is where this picture is taken. A lot of the road has this roller coaster ride. Glad we didn't take this with the trailer. But nice drive and again the mountains.
The area we are in is the desert area and there is cities of these names; Indio, Bermuda Dunes, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, Thousand Palms, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral, and then the two most recognizable cities -- Palm Springs, and Desert Hot Springs. When we leave here on Monday we will be going to Desert Hot Springs. So we will be spending three weeks in this area. This will be one of those short trips from one camp resort to the next -- 28 miles.
I love the palm trees. You can even ask my Cousin Sue, when we visited her in Florida I really wanted her palm tree in the front yard. I know it wouldn't have lived in Michigan.

Oh what a beautiful place. This is Palm Springs. Very very nice area. It does appear to be the land of the wealthy, thank goodness they didn't charge to drive thru. It was funny, we seen a beautiful Casino in downtown Palm Springs. We went inside, when we play we actually play the pennies. I told Bob when we went in, they may not even have penny machines. LOL -- they did.

We are enjoying the desert weather here at Indio. First day in awhile since we've been able to wear shorts and sandles. We both sat outside the trailer reading this early afternoon. Went for a drive to get a couple of greeting cards for family members. Returned back to trailer to relax outside. This is spoiling us. The news said we got to 71 degrees. It is amazing how hot the sun is in the desrt. (Please not bragging, just stating a fact).
