This was on our way to the Phoenix Zoo. Just an interesting little mountain.

This is our trailer with the awning out and the shade attached. Normally when we are out west we don't need the awning. Usually very nice but not hot. This year in Casa Grande (located between Phoenix and Tucson) it has been hot. We are like anywhere else this year, it is warmer here than normal. This week it has been and will be until (I think) Saturday in the 80's. Today it was 84 here. Certainly not complaining at all. Very nice. But the patio was just too hot to sit outside without the awning and shade. Seems like the sun is hotter in Arizona than home. I guess that makes sense.

If you look very closely Bob is under the awning and enjoying the shade.

FINALLY got the picture. I had tried different times to get this picture. Needless to say I really like the digital camera. LOL Arizona celebrated their 100th year in the United States this year.

Okay, tried to get the picture of the sign. No not the road construction ends sign.

Sunday, March 11, 2012 -- We went with Duke & Donna to a casino for Seafood Buffet on Friday night. Oh my goodness was that good. Duke can put away a lot of crap legs. I found a crap can bite you even after it is dead and cooked. LOL -- had a cut on my thumb from opening those legs.

We are enjoying our time with Duke & Donna, they leave on Tuesday morning for their next stop. They head for home at the end of April. We have some things we want to do here after they leave, but we have 9 days after they leave to do them.

Everyone else but Arizona and Hawaii changes their clocks for Daylight Savings Time. So we don't change time until we head for home, when we cross over into New Mexico. We are three hours difference than home. Like being in California.

Thursday, March 8, 2012 -- We have moved to our last scheduled resort in Arizona. We are between Phoenix and Tucson at Casa Grande.

Our friends, Duke & Donna, that we keep meeting up with are here. Really nice that we have been able to see them three different times this year. They are from British Columbia. Besides talking to them during the day we also spend "happy hour" with them, a scheduled 3:00 p.m. at their trailer. At today's happy hour there was 24 people there. Duke said happy hour was in our honor because we arrived today. He is a lot of fun.

Daylight savings time is this Sunday. But we are in the state that doesn't change their clocks. So this will put us three hours apart from home. So when we start home and get to New Mexico we will change our clocks.
