From Sunday, February 6, 2011 --- We traveled from Winterhaven, CA to Jamul, CA. This was a beautiful drive on Route 8. Lots and lots of mountain area. I have to make myself NOT take pictures.

We were glad to get here and realize that the truck was fixed and did a great job. We knew we wouldn't know for sure until we put the truck to test on mountain roads. We got parked in the campground. Only problem is that we have these huge mountains all the way around the campground so we don't have cell phones, and didn't have computer until today(Thursday).

They told us in our literature that to watch your small dogs because they have coyotes. (Who doesn't have coyotes?) The first night was fine. The second night we had TV on and I said to Bob that it sounds like sirens. He turned the TV down and said -- Those are coyotes. OMG they are eeried too.

We were expecting the possibility of winds. So he said after awhile I'm going out and get the small rugs outside. Oh great, no further than the doorway -- those coyotes may be near by. LOL
